Default ls2 compression test is this right!

well just did a compression test on my ls2 with only 3k on it.

mods

243 64cc
weisco stock height pistons
stock bore 4.000
stock headgaskets
600.609 114 cam

my compression was 195-200 accross the motor on all cylinders

is this low or high trying to get a little more out of the motor by milling them down some more and slightly bigger cam. also installing 2.02 1.57 valves

LS2 bore is 4.0". That compression sounds fine to me. My LQ4 was a little lower last time I did one.

Your compression test isn't gonna have anything to do with whether you can mill anymore. It's your PTV clearance that determines that, and also the compression ratio you're looking for.

You can also adjust you compression with a thinner head gasket, but like said above , watch your piston to valve clearance with after market cam shafts, And also with the larger valves 2.02" you are getting close to the pistons. With the combo that your looking for you will most likely need your pistons notched
