Who makes the best headers for a ls1 swap into a 68 camaro?

Do you mean by pure performance? Regardless of cost?
Or, are you looking for a compromise of cost, performance, etc?
I prefer Hooker ceramic coated in combination with their motor mount plates because they eliminated the guesswork from my swap. Got a great deal on them. In retrospect, I have no complaints.
Some folks like the Edelbrocks for similar reasons.

In some cases the clearance is and issue in those cases i would go with a shorty header i like Sanderson in those cases but otherwise i agree with gMAG.

I have a set of the hookers I am going to sell if anyone is interested, they are great I just ended up needing a larger header for my procharged larger ci engine.
