Default Bypass the emergency brake - Watch DVDs while driving

Anyone have any good ways to bypass the emergency brake so that DVD's will play while driving? Head unit is Planet Audio P9717b. I found some things to try using google, but not sure if they will work with my head unit. Just wondering if anyone has a good technique I can try.

Thanks!

Usually there has to be a ground signal on the e-brake labeled wire going into the head unit. You would locate this wire, take it off wherever its currently hooked up (which should be the switch located on the ebrake handle) then connect it directly to ground so it thinks the parking brake is engaged all the time.

Usually you can by a kit to do that but with that head unit, you'll have to do what 01ssreda4 said.

Most units have manufacture override built in. just not advertised to the public like that but, most installers know where it is. Press a couple of buttons in sequence and !viola! Mine used to play burned copies to but I think I did something it is a Jensen 9413 I think.

We do not support instructions for doing something as illegal and obviously dangerous as this in this forum. Thread locked.
