Default Valve cover spacers/covers ?

So, im in need of some valve cover spacers to clear my shaft rockers.
id rwally like to retain a stock type cover for my coil mounts
Ive searched the site, but cannot find any info on anyone using any, or on what results they got?
Also, are any of the different year factory valve covers any taller in different years than any others per se?
Ill be removing all baffling internally,so im only interested in overall height from sealing area to top of covers

thanks

Spacers are ~ $150 a pair, with twice the chances for leaks. You can find polished, tigged sheetmetal valve covers (with or without coil mounts) complete on E-Bay for less that that.

Make sure you use billet spacers that use OEM valve cover gaskets. They work fine and do not leak. Available in 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 inch heights. They come with longer mounting bolts.
These are 3/4 inch to clear 1.8 roller rockers with stock LS valve covers.

The two E-Bay sets I have seal perfectly, one was from a vendor here (Aaron's) and the other was from "southbayglobal". Aaron's worked with me on custom height covers, the other (much cheaper) outfits sell prebuilt covers in different heights, you'll need to bid accordingly.

I bought a set of 1/2" spacers from Summit, and the worked great for a few years. Then after a teardown, I cleaned the small silicone O ring gaskets with lacquer thinner.
That screwed them up and they have leaked since then. I replaced the O ring with neoprene rubber, still leaked. I bought different rockers, and switched back to stock valve covers.

Yella Terra sells a thicker valve cover gasket if you only need about 1/8 inch.
