Default Just a teaser...

Well, what a job, Bob J. knows what Im talking about when i say stuffing a procharger in these cars is not easy. Now the fun part comes...

I am writing up a detailed document of all entailed in this install, properly. (including tuning the sob) 300 pics to go through.
Huge *** intercooler looks nice though... nightmare to fit (keeping the washer fluid, relocate ECM slightly, keeping the bumper rebar.

Comments?
Thoughts?
constructive criticism? - besides should'a bought a V2...
I know 2 pics are not that many, but the full article should be done in a week time here.

enjoy

Yeah what tony said PLUS wondered how the noise was.

I assume you've got axles on that thing 'cause I'm sure you must be in excess of 500 rwhp.

Based on the two pics - It looks like a clean install.

I/C does look badass as well.

Would be very interested in some vid when you get a chance.

Is the cost of the system comparable to other SC's for thie car?

<----Staying stock.

I actually have a few questions based on your purchases. Looks like a Fast 92mm minimum. Why not just a single plane intake? In my perspective, its not like it really matters if it outflows the stock manifold at atmospheric pressure. Could have saved a few $$.

How many hours would you say it took to accomplish this task? Looks damn good in my opinion. Should be one hell of a ride when finished.

If you look at the Legendary Bob, with his F1 blown, by simply switching from an LS2 stock intake to a FAST he dropped from 14.4psi to 12.0 but increased by 55 rwhp on the mustang dyno.
And as itsslow98 mentioned, it would be a nightmare to fit. - I think Bob had tried originally.

I am tallying up the numbers but it stands $5442.89 + miscellaneous, around 6K Canadian. - This includes BAP, 60 Deka etc and 103mm maf (will be going 2bar SD as well, just tinkering with tuning methods.
NOT INCLUDING FAST, rails etc or 90mm throttle mind you, otherwise your probably spot on.

All of this is in the write-up.

Noise? - Yea, its noisy just at idle, this is not a sleeper by any means at idle. - the advantage to a maggie of course, no noise at idle. Quite the opposite here.

Looking at the 9" IRS setup...
because yea, there is no planting this power properly. Just a dyno bitch at the moment. - a BABY version of Bob's of course.

This was all of something I had to do... Thanks everyone for your comments.
I will post the write-up when complete.

"I am tallying up the numbers but it stands $5442.89 + miscellaneous"

Thats obviously parts only as well, the majority of people would be unable to take on such a task so you can easily add 2k+ to that figure in labor correct?

Sick build, im moving away from modding the V and buying another fbody to turbo. Much more stuff made for them thats bolt on haha, but some unlike myself enjoy doing things out of the ordinary that are hard and expensive.
