Default New PAC springs

Looks like PAC has new springs in their 2011 catalog: 1219 and 1519. Both beehives.

Has anyone seen those, prices?

I saw these a few weeks ago, look at the spring mass compared to the 1518s! I hope the coil bind is conservative like the 1518s.... If these will repeatably go 1.080 I'd like to to throw .650 at them and spin 7200+ even with solid stem valves.

Interesting. I have a new set of 1518's for an L92 build but wonder if its worth the investment to step to these instead? Anyone using these yet?

I'm not, but they are looking great for sure. I'd say its worth.

They also have several new double springs that look nice as well. I would look at them for a l92 build

So better seat and open pressure, AND less mass. Sounds like a winning combination for some high rpm motors.

I typically run duals regardless but on this build Im retaining VVT and apparently the phaser struggles too hard against big pressures so....

Singles it is. Might just run the 1518's and go but I will certainly keep an eye on these and build threads that run them

PAC has several new springs for LS engines that look like they'll be pretty awesome . There's even a small diameter spring that could be used for moderate solid roller applications . I think they had some exciting stuff @ PRI .

I wish they had nitrided some of the new springs. The 1518's and the 1521's look like they remain the only drop in nitrited spring.

Hmm maybe that will come. Im definitely running the 1518's now I didnt read closely enough to notice the new ones are not nitrided. Neither were the 1518's initially they were just the 1218's ( 12 iirc? ) regardless the version thats the same less nitriding.
