Default wheel/tire help for lowered trans am

I'm a complete noob on wheel and tire sizing... i need some help guys. My 98 Trans am is lowered 2 inches with an eibach pro kit. I'm about to purchase some replica all black 17x9.5" c6 z06 wheels for my black trans am. says the tire that should be used is 275/40/r17. Will I run into any issues with rubbing and fitment since its lowered so far? thanks again guys sorry for the noobness

You should also be able to run a 285/40/17 tires on the 17 x 9.5's without any issues.

I've got 17x9.5 "DD" C5's all around and when I need tires, I'm bumping the rears up from 275's to 285's just to give the rear a lil wider stance without trying to go way to big for a 9.5in wide wheel.

oh i love the deep dish c5's. couldnt find a deal on them though. i'm going to go with 285's in the rear as well i think. the wider the better

What looks good on other cars, won't necessarily look good on every car. (Lambo doors, for example ) That lambo is sick, but it also has HUGE break calipers. IMO it'd probably look dorky/out of place on a TA.

the black on black will look good. and i love my C6 Z06 wheels. but if you are goin to do a 285/40 in the rear ya might wanna think bout some 255/40 for the front to match the sidewall hight so ya dont have a fat sidewallup front and small in the rear

not bad for MS Paint! they would be hard to keep clean. I just didnt want to do the red because thats what everyone and their mom does. but there is probly a reason for that. cuz it looks the best on black trans ams i guess. so i might just have to go with red...
