Smile 400hp plug question

NGK TR55 vs TR6 vs Delco plugs on a n/a 400rwhp car... mods in sig. Did a search and answers are way too vague. Car will not see nitrous and running stock compression. Thanks!

What is the source of the stock gap of 0.060 inch? All of the plug manufacturers (NGK, Denso, AC Delco, and Bosch) except Champion list the stock gap as 0.040. Champion list 0.050".

If memory serves the TR55 comes out of the box already gapped at .055..when I had stock compression I ran the TR55 plugs gapped at .055 for about 130,000 miles with no problems ... you should always check the gaps before installing.

According to NGK's website TR55s come pre-gapped at 0.044".
