Default Which Nitto NT05R Size?

So my rear tires are pretty much BALD! & its time to upgrade them. I've gone with the NT555R in the past & there so so.... But I've heard the NT05R hook up pretty dam good. I would get M/T but they don't make them in my size........ *cough* *cough*

I have C5 Y2ks in the rear that are 18" & 9.5" wide. Looking at Nitto NT05R sizes they come in 285/40R18 or 305/45R18. I've been trying to email Nitto if their 305 would fit on a 9.5" rim because it says it can? But still haven't gotten a hold of them

Give the guys at Discount Tire Direct a call...they have Nitto's for the cheapest price shipped that I could find. ( and remember, they have free shipping, and price match for shipped prices-VERY hard to beat! )

They have a very knowledgable (and easy to get ahold of) technical team. They can answer your questions for you, I'm sure.

I'd go with the 285/40R18. The 305/45R18 would be too tall for the wheel well.

285 would be a good fit and wont budge or be sucked in to much IMO. I ran a 275 BFG on my 9.5 wheels and they sucked in a little bit.

Alright sweet thanks guys... M/T apparently said that their 305/45R18 would fit on a 9.5 rim? But I'm thinking it would be to tall?

Good question. I've been thinking about giving them a try but I want a 315/30/18 or 315/35/18 but all they have is a 315/40/18 and that may be too tall.

Good luck OP

40 shouldn't be to tall but 45 you should run into some problems....
