VSS Question/98 harness and computer I have a 98 fbody harness and a np241 out of a 91 suburbanwith the vss. I cut the 98 pig tail off and spliced it into the 91 plug. I swaped the wires both ways and the speedo will not work. Should the plug have power on it?

I got the speedo to work, it wasn't getting power on the cluster. It is way off though... running 30mph it is pegged. I guess I will have to have this corrected with the computer?
