Here is the quote , I put together 3 different options. 1 is using your block ,forged pistons, and rods stock cubes. 2 is your block fully forged 402 cubes. 3 is whole new block 402 ci.

1. Forged pistons, h beam rods with arp rod bolts, stock crank and block . This includes all machining and short block assy 3000

2. Forged pistons, h beam rods with arp rod bolts, and forged 402 stroker crank. Includes all machining and short block assy 3850

3. Forged pistons, h beam rods with arp rod bolts, and forged 402 stroker crank. Includes all machining and short block assy New block and ARP main studs 5100

All 3 setups Include new rod, main, and cam bearing. Moly piston rings.

Here are the options for the heads

1.Use stock heads clean, 5 anglevalve job, deck, setup valve springs, and dual 675 springs with titanium retainers,7 degreee locks 700

2. New stage 3 ls6 heads with 2.05 intake valves and 1.60 stainless exhaust ,675 springs with titanuim retainers 1950

Here are the rest of the parts that we will need with whatever short block and heads you go with.

That's about right. You kind of bounce around what we charge. Higher on some and lower on others.

Good luck.

Prices seem pretty high for a 402 shortblock. Just my .02¢

if youve already got an LS2, why pay for a new block?
unless they will give that 1200 bucks or whatever back as core when you give them your block...
(to save on down time...)

to be honest, its still tough to say without knowing what brand of rods/pistons/crank you would be going with.

a shelf piston and a custom piston can be drastically different in price.
