Default Looking for help or advise

i recently bought a 99 camaro ss so far i have i have put pacesetter long tubes high flow cats summit racing 3 inch x pipe havent added mufflers or tailpipes yet... ive been wondering how much power i could to expect if i add ls6 intake bigger throttle body new intake 243 heads and better cam then a dyno tune... ive been looking around and can find the 243 heads fairly cheap so i would like to go that route and suggestions or info would be great thanks

generally speaking, stock 243's, stock ls6 intake/tb, cam, exhaust will get you at least 410 rwhp. if you have a pretty agressive cam that number can be as high as 430-440 rwhp. with a FAST intake and ported 243's 460-470 is not unheard of with the right work.

however there are some inherent issues that come with more hp/tq.

450 is where i want to be around for now so this is good news how much machine work can expect to pay on the heads

hit up the regional section and find a good machine shop to discuss price with. i can tell you that your basic port and mill would not be too expensive and paired with the right cam you can easily attain 440-450 rwhp and have a good even mid range. remember when doing a motor average hp and tq is just as important as peak.

some of the best cams on the market right now:

and if you don't see one that tickles your fancy just call/e-mail Geoff with your build specs and he can meet your needs exactly.
