Best I could ever get was a 2.05. I guess with better tires I could have ran a 1.9

How did you get a 1.9 60ft with stock stall?
Footbraked it up to about 1.5-1.7k rpm's then punched it. I actually pulled a 1.8 with my Eagle F1 DSG3's but had a slower 330' and got sideways in the 1-2 shift.

It's a 99 so I added a LS6 Intake, Pacesetter LT's to 3" ORY to Magnaflow Catback. Also has K-Member, UDP, SFC, 3.73 gears and a Transgo Shift Kit.

My best on my stock stall and half worn Fuzion ZRi's was 1.8 as well. I have a 3600 waiting to go on sometime this winter and some DR's too, so hopefully it helps out.

Yea - Texas has a knack for having some great race weather deep in the winter. Yesterday was in the 50's and not a sign of rain; today we got 4-5 inches of snow...

I didn't add it in my last post. My 1.8X was with an A4 with the stock torque converter, stock 3.23's and street tires. It had about 125k on the odometer, and the only things that were done to it, were an MTI Lid, LS6 intake and true duals. Did it at Mason Dixon in Boonsboro, MD. If I think about it tonight, I'll hunt up the slip.
On a side note, I went to MIR this past October. I've added the Torquer 2and some Nitto DR since that trip to Mason Dixon, and at MIR I couldn't pull under a 2.0 60 ft. :bang:

What was da of the 1.8 60'?
And did you still have stock stall when you added the cam?
Theres no doubt in my mind 1.8x is possible on stock stall with few mods but only in great race weather. Roll out has to be excellent. I bet those duals helped out alot with torque off the line.

senicalj - that's a solid time you pulled from your 01 SS in your sig with basically the same mods as me. Is that on street tires or DRs?

Hy thanks man!
This was on hoosier drs. They are my fav tire after trying mt et st radials and mt et st biasply. The radials give me more mph and overall seem to be better for me. The CAI I have makes a huge difference as well. I havent tuned the car since the headers+ory so I think theres just a little left on the table. Next is a ss3600, ss4000, or pt4000 stall. Havent decided which one yet.
Dude if you dont have a CAI kit I recomend one. Heres my results if your curious...http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/drag-racing-results/1347777-another-ram-air-test-proof-works.html

Yeah I'd think a tune would net you 8-10 more RWTQ/HP at the very least.

I'd have to hunt up that particular slip to get the exact DA for that run, but it was a cool day in November and it was between 100 and 600 most of the day. I still have the stock stall in, even now...cam and all. The 3600 is still setting in the basement waiting for my schedule to free up long enough to drop it in. May not even happen before the rally I'm in this summer.

Have you ever heard of shocking or bumping the converter. My friends father owned old ford drag team car. Bob Glidden showed him, he told that Bob sat in the car with a 3500 stall and bumped it to 4800 never chirped the tires. Now he said put pressure on the converter like normal at the bottom yellow let off pressure them stab it back. Its shocks the fluid inside converter and the stator for that moment of inertia. I have never been able to try it I have had manual trans.

Best 60' I could get with a 3880 lb race weight GTO with stock 235/35/18 Potenza RE40's was a 2.05. I wish I could get my goat down to an F-bodies weight and finally break out of the 12.8's with a stock verter.

I'm sure my car wouldve gone slightly faster with a smaller driver. Im a big dude lol
