Well I've been saying I'm gunna do this for years now, and the time has come its time for me to get my shit in line and get all my stuff indoors and get out of my parents house(yeah Im 26 and still live @ home so its time to move on- but I work offshore so I'm not even home 6 months out of the year)

I'm thinking either a 50x100 or 60x80... DEPENDING on pricing a 60x100 may also be an option.

I'm wanting to build a 25ftx60 or 30x50 apartment inside the shop.

so im left with a 55x60 shop area of 70x50.

I dunno if either of these will be enough to fit 2 cars, 2 trucks, 4 atvs, a motorcycle and 2 18ft boats(a fishing boat and a jet boat) + a lift, and fabrication area!

Not only that I'm doing to do all of this UNDER $100K

you should be able to get a 60x100 For 15-25,000K.Then you need a foundation which could cost anywhere from 5000-15000,then you need workers. Then you need electric and have it wired up anywhere from 5-10000K.Sheetrock,outlets,gas pipes heaters,AC.etc it adds up quickly. Its doable for 100k.Im building a 60x80 Now but Im doing most of the work and doing it out of brick. You have plenty of room for all your stuff 60x100 is huge.If you do some of the work you'll save alot.

Something else to think about is making sure that it will pass as a dwelling with your local codes. I say do a small house with the shop detached if the huge shop is a requisite
