10 Second Club - Do i have what it takes to go tens?

Okay so i really REALLY wanna see ten's in my car this year, my setup is in my sig but add a th350 and a bomb ass tune... Im hoping to see about 450-475ish to the tire with this setup... I wanna stay as full weight as i can... My goal with this build was to hit tens and if i dont get it all motor then im going to spray a 200 shot and then i know for sure i will go tens...


I want to order my license plate now but its going to say "IGOTENS" But if you dont think i will break 11's then i dont want to order it lol

Look at my mods and I got 10's on a 100 shot.

My 389 HP all motor.. so if you think your around 450-475ish then you will have no problem getting into the 10's with less the 200 shot.

200 would be a over kill to get into the 10's lol

we both have the same H/C combo and I ran 11.6 with 3.23 gears and a 3200 stall.. and I babied it since I was scared to break the 10bolt or tranny, but I think I could of ran like 11.4 with a better 1.6 60'. Soon im hoping to hit 10's with my intake set up and bigger gears and stall. So right now I would say you are definately in the 11's but 10's im not sure depends what suppporting mods you have

Once i install my TB and UDP's i will have full bolt ons :) Then i get to work on the suspension... I have a bigger stall and 2.73's too so that might switch things up a bit.

Thats nice to hear lol Six speed or auto? If i do the 200 shot i will be going for 9's at that point lol, imma probably start off with a 100 or 150 shot though so i can get used to it.

The car made 398rwhp and we were not even half way done tuning it but the tranny basically took a dump on the dyno so im guessing with my current setup and the 4l60e i would have made somewhere around 430ish? So with a th350 and a tb and UDP i am hoping for the 450+ mark...

i highly doubt you will put 450+ through the auto. i think you will be closer to 400 which should get you in the tens if you are hooking

Well i made 400 on a stock blown 4l60e with this setup... So with a built tranny and no slippage plus more bolt ons i should be higher... Correct?

th400/350 will usually rob more power than a 4l60, but dyno numbers dont win races...im hoping to be close to 450whp with a 383,custom 24x/25x cam, prc5.3's, ported fast90/92.

Yeah i know that but we will see i guess, no one knows until it hits the dyno again


I dont care what rwhp it makes as long as it goes tens or faster :)

I would say you will dyno less with the th350 vs the 4l60e, but you will e.t. quicker. Still, I'm gonna say that you're not gonna run 10's on motor with that setup.....maybe 11.50's or 40's is my guess. Hit it with a baby 100 shot and go easy 10's.

I would have guessed 11.40's

Hit it with a baby 100 shot and go easy 10's.

I was hoping to avoid the bottle but i gotta do what i gotta do i guess... :/

Either way i AM going tens this year lol
