Default adapter part question

I have a 94Z with the stock Bose CD player. The cd player rarely works so doing the aux/mp3 mod wont work. Would rather keep the stock unit and fix it but can not find a place that will fix the cd player.

What is the adapter unit name/number, think the name is "Scoche" to use with an aftermarket cd player so that the bose speakers work correctly?

also, who sells it?

thanks.

The PAC OEM1 adapter allows installation of an aftermarket head unit into a Bose equipped vehicle.

Do you know if this will also work to install a 02 stock CD unit?

It will work with any head unit (factory or aftermarket) that has normal speaker-level output. It converts the speaker-level output to line-level (pre-amp) output for the Bose amps. Basically it's a fancy line out converter like the type used to convert speaker signal for input to a sub amp.
