that helps me out zero. lol
1. because autos are faster and easier on parts. ask me how i know.
2. i do alot of backing in spots at night. so without reverse lights i would be screwed.

24LT GRN (upper left quadrant, just right of the Parl/Neutral Position switch). You M6 PCM's program will need to be slightly modified to accept this signal...

If you use a factory auto shifter the reverse switch is built right in. Run the wires that went to the switch on the M6 up through and attatch to the new switch.

No that is the brake to shift out of park interlock. The switch is on the right side. 6 wires 2 for P/N starter circuit, 2 for reverse lights, 2 to pcm for P/N idle control.

I attatched pics of the reverse light plug on the M6 and the shifter plug for the A4. The wiring for the shifter plugs is

A-ground
B-org/black wire to pcm for P/N idle signal pcm pin 15 connector C (gray/clear)
C-reverse light brown wire from M6 reverse switch
D-reverse light lt/grn wire from M6 reverse switch
E-starter yellow wire from M6 clutch pedal switch
F-starter yellow/brn wire from M6 clutch pedal switch
