19k for an auto ls1? Is that a good deal? I thought that was more of a ls2 price range.

Look around a bit. I got my car from a dealer in escondido for 17.5 with 31k miles on it. If you want there is a twin turbo that needs a head gasket going for 18.5 on ls1gto.com he is over in oakpark. I was going to pick it up before the head gasket went but I needed one to drive right away.

If you're interested, I'm selling my '04 Silver GTO for 12.5K. Yeah it's an LS1, but with the $$$ you'll save you can put in an LS2 or stoke it to a 402.

I've seen quite a few ls2 GTO's A4 and M6 for around 14k-16k on average over about the past 2 years. Is the mileage really low?
