looks like you got that extra little hit from the 6 speed and thats all that mattered in the run. Good race, sounds like he needs to have a better suspension and tires.

6,000' DA. OUCH! That comes out to a corrected time of 11.8 in the 1/4 according to Drag Times DA calculator. I would assume he has a small cam? LS6 cam maybe?

These are your #'s with the 228R cam? If so that seems really low.

good video and good race. im glad to see some good daytime vids. I think if the trans am was holding a gear instead of letting it downshift it woulda been dead nuts.

Dyno numbers mean nothing.. I have a 226/228 .588 114 ported 102/92 ported/milled 317s and only put down 380Rwhp... I cut 1.4X short times and run bottom-flat 7.X@95+mph though in 2000+DA, full weight car.

that is an awesome short time.

Only reason the car runs the et it does. Obviously is doesn't pull insane up top with the 94mph trap but it does good. It has ported milled 317s and a 226 cam so it isn't impressive power wise.

About to switch the setup a little bit though.. lq9 AI ls3 heads etc.. hoping to see some 6.7-8s out of it on motor. We will see though, you know how it goes.

Never messed with LS stuff from AI. If its anything like their LT stuff it must be good work.

That is what i have been seeing.. and for the money, it is hard not to go that route.
I'm going to match it with a mamofied 102..1 78 to an xpipe with 1 chambers before axle. Etc etc.. should run decent I hope..

That is what I hear.. hopefully everything will work together nicely.
