Road Racing - New to auto-x

So I'm new to Auto-X and looking for some tips to get the car ready, its a 01 z28 m6 I lowered it, put adj kyb shocks, lower control arms and brackets, a adj pan hard bar, and a strut brace

I'm going to do subframes, and thinking of doing c5 brakes and 4.10 gears (I have stock 3.42 now) also thinking of upgrading the sway bars and maybe adj A-arms to increase camber.

What's your .02 cents

There's only a few events a year near me so I got some time, from stock to now it's a different car, I been playing with the shocks and think I got therm where I like then for now.

What he said. There are so many out there that say I want to do that, but I need to get this, install that. Just run it and have fun with it.
Your first few times out will suck no matter what you have done to the car.

x2 on calling sam.What do you want to do just plain have fun or be completive first I would read the rule book,(i now nerdy haha) but read it and pick the right class. Like my car this year I am going to run in Cprep. This is pretty much all out race cars. For you i think with your upgrades you would be esp.

Don't spend any money your first year. If anything you'll find the biggest improvement from a proper set of tires. Falken Azenis are a decent one, there are others but that's what I've run. Drive the car and have some fun. If you want to change ANYTHING else I'd go with swaybars. Stranos are very good.
