Valve Spring Maintenance

Valve Spring Maintenance
Hello All,
You guys have helped me with dialing in a build that's perfect for my needs -- for that I thank you. Just short of 575 rwhp on a 125 shot of N2O with great street manners and plenty of N/A power under the curve.
Now that my setup is complete and has been running smoothly for a couple years, I have a "maintenance" question.
Went with Comp Cams 928 springs with the relatively mild cam below (228/230 .585/.585, 112 LSA). I got a set of 918s in a kit I bought from TEA, however Vengeance made the decision to use 928s for the install citing the issues Comp Cams were having with 918 failures a couple years ago. For that I'm most grateful! The rating on the 928s are well in excess of the cam's max lift, however after a couple years (and 15,000 miles) of use and occassional abuse is it time to change them out?
How often should I look to change the springs? Anything else I should look to maintain while we're in there?
Thanks!

Those springs will last a whole lot longer than 15,000 miles on a cam that size. You can pull them and see what kind of spring pressure they still put out. But I would not worry about it at 15,000 miles. I ran a set of those on a cam with similar specs and replaced them at 45,000 miles and checked them and they were still good when I replaced them.
