Default replacing alternator

im gonna have to replace my alternator soon on my 2002 t/a so are there any high output models that are OEM size?

I just ended up getting one from advance auto. Replacing the alternator on an LS1 is a BITCH compared to an LT1. Hope you have patience.

the alt is not hard to take out....dont let anyone scare ya.....as it is said in the thread......the stock alt is small.....even if it is a built high amp monster it is still to small...the truck alt is a proven winner....so why not
