LS2 into a 69 Camaro
I am starting my conversion on my 69 Camaro. The Camaro is dissassembed at this moment. I plan to start mocking everything up and going from there. The LS2 came out of a gto so I have to get a f body oil pan. I have a dse subframe so it will be front steer. Here are some pics so far.

Since this is LSTech I will include as much info as possible.
I used the DSE fron subframe on my project. I used there motor mount kit that actually moved the engine back next to the firewall. part #060404.
I have an f body oil pan with no modifications as this sub has a rack and pinion. I have a American Powertrain transmission crossmember for a t56.
I had to raise the trans tunnel to allow enough room to work on the trans. If you do this swap I reccommend installing a remote bleeder for the slave cylinder, this makes thing alot easier.
I changed all the GTO accessories over to f body assesories.

I finally got the Camaro running about a month ago. I used the GTO harness but cut it aprt and modified it. I also purchased HP Tuners and reprogrammed the computer so it would run and crank as a stand alone unit. That was a big undertaking, but I like to see things work myself so I jumped in with both feet!

I bought mine from a salvage yard! $5300.00 for the motor, trans, wiring harness and computer. I also got the throttle pedal as well. I modified the GTO harness and bought HP Tuners to turn off VATs and several other things.
