IMO suspension is the first thing you need.

But I build from the bottom up, being sure to have a stable platform to pit the power in.

I went from 1.55-1.57 60' times footbraking with ET streets to 1.43 60's with a complete UMI/QA1 front end and a drag radial. No other changes.

Suspension is where it's at.

Depends how important traction and handling is to you? For a 10 second car, I'd definately get out the check book...bolt on cars net gains with suspension...

Very expensive, I think suspension is cheaper than HP. and doesn't break well not suppose to.

You need to understand what you are buying does and how to adjust it. Too many people on here keep buying more and more parts and throwing them on the car just to slow down, while others with minimal mods out 60' them.

Happened to me with non adjustable parts and crappy comp 3way drag shocks on a M6. Never did get the car feeling right after i put those on.

SLP Level II suspension with progressive rate springs all the way around, Billstien shocks in rear, Koni one way adjustables up front (rebound only/adjusted full loose), front sway bar still connected, Spohn adjustable T/A, Spohn 25mm rear sway bar, Hoosier 27" QTP's= 1.55 to 1.60 60' times with a dead hook.
The ultimate goal with suspension is traction. Too many like to overcomplicate this by buying **** they don't need for their power level.

Suspension is half the battle man, you need to be able to efficiently transfer the torque to the wheels. Like previously said, stock / bolt on cars will have 1/4 mile gains from suspension mods!

Suspension, weight, and Density altitude has more effect on ET/MPH than other mods do!
