Default New Camshaft Bolts

I purchased these new camshaft boltshttp://www.summitracing.com/parts/ARP-134-1003/. Can they be torqued per gm specs? Or do they need to be torqued per Arp Specs?

I see/or heard nothing stating otherwise on the package mine are in so I'm sticking with the factory TQ specs when I change mine.
The factory Cam sprocket bolt specs are 26 lb.ft.

Hey, according to the ARP site 8mm 180,000psi bolts are 24 ft.lb. w/arp lube.
I think you'll be good either way.

Yea Gm calls for 26ft/lbs. I dont think 2ftlbs would make a difference or could it? I torqued them down to 26ftlbs without arp lube.

ARP TQ specs are always higher when lube isn't used, so it's probably really, really close to stock specs..

Nope, the rotational vector plane will disrupt the valve harmonics!

I would not use ARP lube in this location. I would Loctite them in place and use the same torque specification since the Loctite will provide similar friction as the lube. A lot of guys have had these bolts back out of the cam. Since you have used the ARP lube, you have to remove the bolts and thoroughly clean both the bolts and the cam threads before you can use Loctite or it will not work correctly.
