I have the Borla Cat back with no plates in it. I like it, sounds deep and its almost like a psudo cut out.

Might want to try the new Texas Speed Rumbler catback... like the loudmouth, just without the nasty rasp. I just ordered one to pair with my new headers.

Just going to say...Whenever you get the rumbler on with your headers please post up a sound clip if possible. I'd love to hear this exhaust with headers and ORY. I think I'm gonna get it for now just to have something besides stock...but I plan on upgrading my whole exhaust later and I'm wondering how it willl sound with the headers and ORY.

Thanks,
Justin

I love my SLP LoudMouth. All stainless and CHEAP!!!!!!!
Considering the fact that most cat backs make the same power, I saved 350.00 over the GMMG or Corsa. I like it. There is a drone, but that's what muscle cars are all about, right?

Stocksleeper02: Before deciding on a cat back I recomend you hear sevreal in person. Not sure where you are located but Im sure there are some people near you. Sounds clips never sound the same as in person so thats one reason you should hear it in person. Another reason is because exhaust sound different at idle, when revved and of course when the car is being driven. Riding inside a car you might realize that the exhaust has more drone/resonance than you are willoing to put up with. Good luck with your decision

I knew the Loudmouth was the one when this mustang tried revving on me.
I did a R E V V back & pony boy left me alone.

I paid $315 with free shipping. LS1speed.com

the loudmouth sounds great with stock manifolds and cats

when you go to headers and orp, even with a bullet instead of the resonator, it will be VERY loud and very raspy so if thats what your looking for/planning on than go for

I have the whole "rasp special" and I really like it. My car sounds pissed off and flat out scary. I keep hearing it sounds like a truck which bothers me, but I'm happy, so that's what matters.

I run Loudmouth too, and IMO, it sounds absolutely wicked. If you plan on going with headers and an ORY, then stay far away from LM. Even with headers and a catted-y its pretty friggin loud, so consider that. If you have the money, GMMG is the way to go. Sounds nuts even with stock manifolds, and just flat out awesome with some LT's and an ORY/Catted Y. It all depends on future mods and sound preference. Hope that helps
