Default LS1 in a 86 K5 Blazer

Ok so I did a little searching and couldn't find much on swapping a LS1 into a 86 K5 blazer. We have a 02 corvette pullout minus trans. I know I'll need different motor mounts, and a trans adaptor. I want to use the stock PCM as well. It will be running a 700R4 trans and I'm not sure on the transfer case. If I forgot any info let me know. If anyone has any info or could help at all I'd appreciate it. This is a buddy of mine's project and he needs as much help as he can get. Thanks!

There are lots of swap threads over on the CK5 forum. I have one going over there myself. For the 700R4, you can run an NP-208 T/C. If you want to take full advantage of the swap, a 4L60E mated to a NP-241 T/C from an 1990-1991 suburban or K-5 will be required. I am currently pondering an LQ9/4L80E/NP-241 swap.

Do you have a link to your thread? I was wondering about motor mounts, wiring problems...basically everything needed parts wise to make the swap. I'm not sure what T/C he has for his truck...iirc its a NP/208. I run the N/P-241 in my jeep and love it!
