Default T56 wont shift

I've had 3 different clutches, 3 different master/slaves, and rebuilt trans by TDP. No one can figure it out, it won't go into gear when the cars not moving but goes in fine when driving down the road. We know the clutch won't disengage all the way but none of the mechanics know why. Any help would be great, thanks

Bah. That's my thread.

And it does sound like we are having the EXACT same problem. Having another transmission come out this weekend to look at it. I've taken the transmission out 7-8 times, tried 2 clutch sets, 2-3 different master and slave cylinder, 1 prebled GM hydraulics kit, a $400 mechanic bill that solved nothing and even put a slab of cement and installed a 2-post lift so I wouldn't have to work in the dirt anymore. And I'm still having the exact same issue.

Did your problem happen out of no where or did it happen after a clutch installation?

If you could also post in my thread, it would help keep track of all of the people having this issue. Thank you.

Have you replaced or inspected the shift fork and "T" nut that attaches the shift fork? That is the only thing I didn't see you mention that is related to clutch disengagement.

I can't speak for the OP, but I recently checked mine. I didn't exactly know what to look for, but it seemed like a rather simple piece and everything looked to be working fine.

It started after a spec clutch and hasn't got any better after the other 2 clutches, I never looked at the fork but the mechanic said he thought it looked fine unless he didn't look at it that good
