I dont think i am going to do any work to the Vette and going to get another Camaro to race instead so i will be looking for a 01-02 Z-28 to do the same bolt-ons as my 02 SS just w/ a lot of weight reduction.

I don't know if quiet Joe's '08 is an Auto or Stick. But There are a couple of fast C6 Vette's in the mix at PBIR. Of course the fact that they weigh between 3100-3200lbs. + driver helps alot!

You already may know my Challenge group buddy Mike, from the PBIR Challenge series, but here's his bolt-on only Yellow LS3 '08 C6 Coupe.

We were there on a cooler last Wed. night of 2010 session (12/29/10), when he got his personal best in this stock cammed, No P/A C6 with 3.15 gears, over 48k miles on it, and a stalled Automatic Trans.
He did put GTO skinny's on the front, and took about 50-100 lbs. out of it also.

Here's another Challenge Buddy Joe G, with a Daily Driver 2005, LS2 Ragtop C6, Original maintained clutch, and over 50k on the clock. Cam,intake,4.10's, orig. Block & Heads.
(This vette also ran 182 MPH with 3.90 gears at the last mile run down south.)

yea hthose ls3 vettes are pretty quik I have worked on a few this week myself at the shop...worked on a z06 last week that was modded and iwill have to say that car will shit and git I had to break out the drivers manual

Wide ovals Indy 500, its a lot better than the run flats but is still there.

Joe look under the car by the differential it should say either 2.56 or optional 2.73. If they are 3.42 on an automatic that does not seem right.

It Says 2:56's!!I dont know why the sheet they gave me says 3:42's it must be just something they printed up!!!!!!!!!

Yes the A6's came with 256's and 273's optional. If its got a 342 then someone made a mistake or put a M6 diff in it.

3.42s are the steepest aftermarket gears they offer for the A6 vettes so far but dont let the 2.56s fool you they have plenty of get up and go.

Just talked to Mike Norris and going to get Tuned Next Month In Palm City but Headers may have to wait and Air Intake I am waiting to ee what Mike recommends.Car needs some new tires before it goes to the Track but plan on next month to go !!!!!!!!!!!

Yes,i know but i dont know if i an going to get another 4 Gen Camaro to race or do work to the Vette ! I am thinking just Headers,Air Intake & a good tune w/ GTO Skinnies and a good tire in the back of the Vette will be Good for Mid to Low 11's !!!!!

im sorry .the right cam .headers no cats,fast 102 intake,air intake,390,s out back ,gto spares in front and mickey thomson et streets on back,and a good tune ,car will go 10.40s 10.50 all night long.the cam is the key.

Patrick G already recommended a nice cam that will make 500 rwhp w/a LS-3 so i see no problem for 10's !!!!!!!!!

mike with yellow a6 just went 10.70 with cam, air intake, stock intake, headers, converter,and et streets,a tune also.he will be out there west palm wends night.

I Got My Vararam,ARH Headers,GTO Skinnies coming and Mike Norris is tuning her on March 9 so all i have to do is work on finding rear Rims & tires and in will be ready to go but still thinking if i am doing a converter & cam yet maybe down the road i will.

I know where you can find another, already tastefully modded and worked on/tuned by Mike Norris, very clean 4th gen Camaro! :)

Header order is in my man...I'll shoot tracking as soon as I get it! Can't wait to see her screamin.
