Default Painted my brake calipers

After a lot of TLC, I finally got my brake calipers painted.

Before:

After:

Behind the wheels:

Took the pics with my iPhone, so they're not the best quality. I put the "Camaro" vinyls on top of the red paint, then sprayed a few layers of clear on top of that. I used red and black caliper paint and satin clear made for headers. I don't think I'll have to worry about peeling lol

Tell me what ya think! Thanks!

Thanks to all. I used header paint because I couldn't find any caliper clear coat. Idk if anybody makes it, but I couldn't find it.

Looks great. They make caliper paint, but looks like the header paint worked just fine.

Your car looks exaxctly like mine from that stance so I'm glad you put that picture up. I've been pondering whether or not to do mine like that. I feel like red is so over-done these days and I also don't want to go overkill with the whole black/red theme.

The other thing I've been thinking about is whether or not to do the brackets in black or silver. I think the black it starting to look like the better choice as it's not as flashy as silver. Great job. Also, did you paint the calipers on the car or disconnect them and spray them on a bench?

Well I was originally gonna paint the calipers and brackets black with red lettering. I painted one caliper one way and another the other way. The red won me over. I think it was a good decision. About the brackets... I would go black. That's what I did.

you can polish the brackets but they will just rust, unless you spray some clear on them afterwards.

Lookin good! I have to repaint mine every so often cause the paint gets dull pretty quick. I need to powder coat mine or something.

Even with a clear coat on them? Or did you have clear?
