how do you connect the vacum for the brake booster to the back of the truck intake? the fitting that is on there is odd to me

If you have the one like I originally had, it is solid and obviously wouldn't work without some modification. I went to the dealership and asked for the fitting that is used in a truck that uses that port for vacuum brakes (it's basically just a plastic tube with a collar about in the middle).

And in case you don't know (I couldn't get it at first), to get the plastic fitting out of the intake, the small red collar must be depressed to the intake and then the fitting can slide.

is there any where online i could get it? The guys at the dealership are hard to deal with. They act like i am speaking greek if i cant give them a vin number
