Manny is fighting Mosley and Mayweather is in facing domestic violence charges.
Based on styles I would take Mayweather

oh and my 2 cents on this is.... Manny by decision, despite his record compared to floyds, i think his fighting style is too much for floyd because he can punch accurately and hits just as hard with both hands BUT in different angles aswell, it looks sloppy and some think its crazy but its obviously working, Floyd has great natural talent, his attitude just sucks and maybe some more

I dont know that listing Floyds attitude, as a reason for him losing makes much sense to me.

Its not, But my point is... Records dont make champions.. look at Ali, De la hoya, Hopkins.... I dont see perfect records there and Floyed just doesnt want to lose it... A reason for him to lose is what i just stated, mannys unique "sloppy" way of boxing as alot of critics still say...
His attitude by my opinion is childish is what im getting too...

Styles make fights, Manny is not a sloppy puncher, he throws punches in bunches and overwhelms his opponents with his offense and speed. Floyd is a defensive counter boxer that counters off the should roll guard aka Philly Shell, hitman or crab

 One more time?
Oh, you mean Manny Pacquiao. If you're gonna make a thread about a damned good boxer, I would hope you know how to spell his name.
I'll stir the pot even more. Floyd knows he won't win that fight. It's painfully obvious to any boxing fan. Yes...he is the undefeated champ, but he's in legal trouble now and his hands are costing him serious pain, in and out of the ring. IMO Manny would beat him. Floyd is an outstanding counter-puncher and that's his game...which works against a fighter than punches from simple, repetitive angles and doesn't move around after throwing jab into power combos. Manny moves around a lot, punches from odd angles, and is usually in fantastic shape, aiding his mobility.
I'd love to see it happen, but you that fight is impossible now.

Well so far alot of boxing critics say its sloppy, maybe because its risky especially against skill full fighters... Im not saying floyd isnt good.. like i said he is a talented boxer, i just wish his attitude about fighting was a little diffrent.. his style (philly) is good though because he is fast, Real fast.. I just want the two to fight dammit!!!!!!!!

There is good reason to believe either of these fighters will win, to me its a toss up i really cant pick one. If i had to choose i would choose Pacman (probably against my better judgement) just because he seems more motivated and the harder worker.

I dont know that listing Floyds attitude, as a reason for him losing makes much sense to me.Attitude: I think it can cause major problems in the ring, or brilliant results. I've seen several fighters who were good, but had such terrible attitudes they got themselves in trouble early and often, usually getting a beat down.
To me, it's very important to go into a fight with the proper mindset, and attitude is a central part of it.
5yrs ago, I'd have said Mayweather... Today, I doubt it. Of course, I think he'll duck Manny till one of them retires.

Floyds Mayweather has not taken as much damage as Manny and his style of fighting tends to make a boxer have a longer career, IMO he is still in his prime. Manny's dominance is based on his speed, which can easily dimish over time.

I dont like when people bring up old fights... thats like me saying, "compare the de la hoya vs mayweather fight to the pacman vs de la hoya fight"... its when you step into the ring that matters...

If Manny were to win, he would take the De La Hoya gameplan. Which Freddy Roach has talked alot about, except Manny would have to throw way more punches per round and time his shots with Floyds roll, and use tons of body shots. If you look at the De la hoya and Judah fights against Floyd, they nailed him with alot of body shots.

You need to watch the Juan Manuel Marquez fight againReally? You don't SERIOUSLY put Marquez on Mayweathers level, do you?
Btw, DeLa Hoya thinks MAYWEATHER wins... Just sayin'... :D And hasn't he been pummelled by both? Manny ate his lunch and served him a bedtime story... That was ugly. Too bad they've gotta get older... In his prime, he was really fun to watch.

Clearly its you that doesnt understand, If you know the sport of boxing then you would understand that manny fought marquez atleast 2 wieght classes under and thats a big diffrence.. using the latest fights from pacquio would be more of a "technical aspect" than watching him a few years ago at a lower wieght class... I meant Juan Manuel Marquez vs MannyYeah... I thought you were saying their style is the same or something, which made me think you were suggesting that may indicate how Mayweather would fight Manny... As I'm sure you do too, I would HOPE NOT! Clearly that wasn't the best approach... or was it? Manny is seriously a great fighter. He really seems to be the very best right now.
I haven't seen Mayweather fight in some time, and I don't think he can't win... I just don't think he WOULD win because Manny is also great in the ring, but doesn't come in with anything else on his mind except out-boxing the opponent and I don't think Floyd is there anymore. More like... He's got way too much going through his mind and I think that would be too much of a distraction against a great boxer like Pacquiao. I suspect, however, after 1 round or less, he'd remember what he was there for, if he didn't go in clear-headed. The problem I think would be bigger... a mindset during training issue. Even Floyd Mayweather Jr. cannot afford to face off with "The Pac-Man" at less than 100%. Few fighters in history could.

i would also like to add, I also like how Pacquioa has his own band and sings, his own place at the mall in manilla, is a congress man for his country and not to mention the best pound for pound boxer for his class right now.... how AWESOME is that!!!
I also like how floyd pretty much created "24/7" as if it were his own reality show haha..
Both fighters are good but obviously i like Manny more if you couldnt tell.. LOL:D

All Im saying is theoritcally on paper manny's style plays right into Floyds style. But until Bob Arum can get his head out of his ass and makes this fight happen, all we can do is speculate until they actually fight.

Btw, I was actually thinking of Margarito... donno where the whole thing came from... Anyway... I still think Manny would win, unless it were 5yrs ago, or Floyd had a clear head, in which case I call it a toss up and a fight I'd really like to see.

Floyd is a master at defense, its really hard to hurt him. The more punches manny throws the more openings he will leave.
