A carputer is the best way to go with what they are offering now and for the price. You can get something like the NaviSurfer II, or a company like Bybyte makes a rather nice unit as well. There cheaper AND better than a decent double din setup. You can basically do anything with them. Even tune your car on the fly with something like Roadrunner.

Theres a company thats makes 2010 nissan GTR setup with the screen .It comes with a 7'' touch screen, then theres a monitor to replace you gauges it makes it like the gtr.It does everything from radio ,nav to oil pressure. If I wasn't making My GN a drag car I would do it

How much less for these systems? Any links? I see them all go for about $1k. I was thinking of the pioneer u310bt for my TA. I don't need dvd, just ipod, navi and usb/sd.

No cutting was needed; well just some metal tab in the back but that's it. And 6LE DDIN Bezel.

SnakeStomper- that double din from 6le looks better than the one on his site. Does that require any mods to the hvac? Do the ***** move down or anything? Thanks!
