Default 370 build what pistons? details inside

370 build need help with pistons... been searching and it looks like 4032 alloys is best for long term street use but I need opinions about 2618 alloys as well. Engine is gonna shoot for around 450rwhp and a 150 to 200 hit ontop of that... rods currently are ls2 with stock crank but aftermarket 6.125 are not out of the question. I've seen a few threads saying ls2 rods can hold plenty. From research the 2618 is suppose to b stronger but how will it hold up to long term durability? I understand even gm uses the 4032s in the ls9s so a mahle power pack flat top looks good. Open to all opinions thanks.

For the nitrous useage you're considering, I'd recommend the 2618 over the 4032 forging!

Will the 2618 last as long as far as miles racked up on the engine? Or will they wear the cylinder faster? This is a daily driver

Anything above 150+ shot, stick with a 2618 material piston imo.

I ended up buying the pistons above from phantom... Looks like she will be solid.

Save your money and get the best FORGED pistons you can buy. Especially for the Nitrous your gonna spray also some piece of mind. I went with custom JE pistons on my 370 build and I'm spraying a 200 shot at them (Love IT).
