Default Swapping in some Ford SVO 30# red top injectors, what changes to make in HP Tuners?

Making the swap this weekend along with some PRC 5.3 heads & a Fast 78/85 intake/TB setup. I can re-tune for the heads & intake after the install, no prob. I'm just not sure what all tables I need to change for the new injectors before I even fire it up & start tuning VE/MAF/etc.

I know these injectors are rated 36# at our LS1 fuel pressure. I also know I need to change the injector flow rate table & am pretty confident I have found the correct #'s for that table. That said, what other changes will I need to make for the injectors? Any changes to the offset table or the pulse adder tables?

Thanks in advance!

you need to get the exact correct data for the injectors before you tune ve and maf. otherwise, it will all be off and you could end up chasing your tail. the data is available for purchase out there, namely greg banish's dvd unless you know someone who has it already, i guess. you can't just change one or two tables. they all have to be right.

with that said, you can leave your injector data stock and hack the airflow tables and make it work, but it won't work good, lol..... i doubt your going to find someone to just post that info online.

You need IFR, offset, and short pulse tables for those units. Then it's business as usual for calibration.

Thanks for the help guys. Been doing some more research & I had no idea that injector info was so well guarded. I've had no problem getting all the free help I could ask for online when it comes to every other aspect of tuning. Kind of crazy how different the injector data is.
