2001 SS Hardtop 50k miles
Wondering how much this would be worth. Very clean and tan leather interior 6spd. Were there alot of SS hardtops made? Kinda new to Fbodys. Thx

looking at it. 47k miles white hardtop 2nd owner very very clean. 6 spd only one scratch to speak of. Chrome ZR1 wheel but have stock ones too. SLP exhaust and intake are only two mods. Thx for helping me out.

With stock wheels included and the usual mods, I would say between $12k-$13k. Hardtop/TTop/Vert all have their own fanboys for various reasons although I would take a ride in a ttop or vert before buying...it's a different world when you cruise without a roof!

I don't have any data on the number of hardtops but a clean title, clean Carfax 'good condition' SS with those miles and a 6 speed would be worth about $10,000 - $12,000 if the car was maintained properly and not abused. Who was the last owner? If a kid banging the gears, think twice. Is there any recorded maintenance? All the fluids should have been changed by now. Still many ??? to give you accurate pricing. What does the car need? Tires? Brakes OK? Clutch behaving properly? Private party or dealer selling?

ok getting very serious about buying either this car or charlie c5 02 WS6 with 39k miles. For about the same price which would be better? Have always wanted a SS but the WS6 seems to be worth more. The only draw back is I would need to find a WS6 hood and get a tune which would be about 1.2k more and the drivetrain has been swapped. The SS is pretty much stock and very clean and ready to go. No issues at all. Please help guys. Thx

Don't worry about 'worth'. What cars are worth and what you can actually sell for are two totally different beasts. Get what you want. That is all that matters without going overboard on price.

You just answered your question. If the SS checks out and the money is right, that's your car. Sounds nice. Good luck!

Very true but I generally dont keep cars very long. So I always take that into account so I wont lose my *** when it comes time to sell. That being said I am leaning towards the SS for the very same reason you have pointed out. Thanks
