Chevrolet Camaro 1967-2002 - help

ok i already own a 91 z28 had a 5 speed... i planned to swaping the motor since it was a 305 so i ripd it out... i bought a ls1 and i have the computer, wiring harness, headers, oil pump, 6 speed, flywheel.... recently i just found out im having a kid and wont have the money to put it in the car and do the work to make it nice. i know a guy who will sell me a 96 z28 automatic with a lt1, it has a blown head what should i do????...
how much would it cost to put the ls1 in this car and how much for the 91 i already own.... i would just fix the lt1 but idk yet if thats all thats wrong with it

I would think you would put about the same money in either car so if you think the money isn't there for your original project I would not start another one. You could easily sell your LS1 parts on this website. The 91 car as a roller might be a little harder to sell but you might sell it on racingjunk.com. Assuming you have something to drive right now might want to just put you 91 projecton hold for awhile.

well the reason the 91 was seeming like to much money is it has dented passenger side and cosmetic damage about how much am i lookin to spend putting a ls1 in the 91 or 96 ......i know to change lt to ls you need computer, wiring, tranny, i got those what else would i need
