Default tsp 228r..head choice

Running currently with the TSP 228r and now considering heads, have a good deal for PRC stg2.5 LS6 heads....Im on a budget as far as the price goes so i was looking to stay within the PRC family...but dont know if the cam would like the LS6 style or 5.3s better...also spraying a 100 shot occasionally..I searched but i couldnt really find any specific results...its a full bolt on and geard(3.73), stalled auto (ss4000), daily driven but maybe gets 10 miles a day...dont really roll race mostly just 1/4mi racing...any advice?

Can you still get AFR 205s? I thought the AFR 210 is the new "205."

the ls6 stage 1 prc heads are close to the stage 2 heads.you won't give up too much power.

I have that cam, with the stage 1 LS6 heads. I am completely happy with the power it put down though a stalled auto.

Like they said, for a budget oriented combo the PRC Stage 1 LS6's are going to be hard to beat! With that cam, we can mill the LS6 heads a bit, free of charge, to bump your compression a little as well!

Let me know if I can help! I have some of those heads in stock and ready to ship!

I like the extra flow and performance of the Stage 2 LS6's better, but for the budget build, you save almost $200 on the Stage 1's as compared to the Stage 2's!
