MIG or TIG guide plates
I 've got my adjustables set and thought I'd tack them while I'm in there. Any thoughts on best way to do this or does it matter? Any thoughts here? Thanks guys

The reason to weld them is because he is obviously talking about the two-piece adjustable guideplates.
TIG would be nice because it makes a whole lot less mess.
I never welded mine, just torqued the studs and it was fine. If I had access to a tig though I likely would have used it, just a spot is all you would need.

3 of the cylinders had a different spacing on them vs. the GMPP plates. I was going to permanently set those for no good reason. Got nothing better to do...

I agree with this...I set up the ISKY's from scratch and then compared that with the old GMPP's just for reference sake - ever so slight stance difference on 2,3, and 4. Not sure if this is typical on the stock castings or not?? Thanks for the feedback guys.
