not without a minitub or lewis 5 wide fenders, a search would have resulted that.

Not even close !! First of all you would need a 12-13" wheel, factory C6Z stuff or aftermarket wheels. Then they would stick out 2-3" past the fender. Not to mention they are almost 29" tall.
Like the previous poster said, L5's, TPE's or minitub. That 3:15 gear with a 29" tall tire, you better be putting down some serious HP to even get it moving.

Maybe you meant to say 315/40R18 ?? Which is a NT05R size, if not where did you find a 345/40R18 tire. And who makes it ??

Like everyone else said you need a 12 to 13 inch wheel to fit. If the rim is not wide enough you will not get anymore contact patch from a 345 than you would a 315. The 345 would have about an inch on each side that would never wear out because it would never touch the ground.

My 335/30/18s required a mini-tub. So...I don't think wider AND taller would work, without work.

Actually, a 335/30/18 fits without minitub. I have ccw classics with just the right offset, that it fits snugly.

However the op listed tire, that's a BIG f'n tire. 345/40/18 is tall as **** and will NOT fit under even a stock height vette.

I occasionally run M&H 345/35/18 Dr's on my 2.75" mini-tubbed Vette and they just barely rub on hard suspension jolts.
