Default Can I have my stock crank turned?

the machine shop said that my crank would need to be turned, probably 10 thousandths.

Will it be hard to find bearings? Would anyone advise against turning a LQ9 stock crank?

You can turn it, and should be able to find bearings to fit easily.

Ok cool, so its not like the paper thin bore sleeves in the aluminum blocks.
