Was roughammer spraying on the 10.6 pass?
On offtopic.com people are saying he admitted spraying out of hole to get good 60'. I searched through 10 pages of his post and didn't see anything.
------------
Um....dude..he admitted to spraying a dry shot out of the hole a LONG time ago. How else does a stock suspension heads/cam car cut a 1.3 60' foot?
Oh yeah, and that car weighed like, 3,100 with him in it.

I have a Heads/Cam car. Stock block, Stock crank, Stock rods etc 346ci LS1 with Thunder Racing S2 Heads and TR 230/224 cam.
I have cut several 1.39 60's and ran a best ET of 10.60 @ 126 MPH.
I have complete "stock style" suspension. My race weight is usually 3250-3275 with me in the car.
So was Roughhammer sparying? I don't think so.

I thought that was crap.....we or HE needs to get on offtopic and dispute these guys. Most of them are Ricers anyway. anyway it is offtopic.com, under american muscle and the thread is something about a stock SS running 12.9.

John was not spraying. His car was properly set up, the air was beyond perfect, and his car was also lightweight. Its not like his car runs 10.6 all year long, or even cuts 1.3s all year long. Perfect timing on several variables makes for a good record ET.
Really, do you even think the guys on offtopic.com have any credibility compared to our site? HELL no.

LMAO!
I wish I had a penny for everytime someone has accused my car of having Nitrous.
My response is normally the same. "The door is unlocked, go look for yourself", "Let me know when you find the bottle, after 3 years, it probably needs a refill"
Long story short, setup right, these cars fly! People have a hard time believing it and Nitrous is an easy scapegoat.

This is the same thing people said about Tony and Brooke when they ran unheard of times in the LS1 world back in the day. Give it time and as soon as a few people are able to achieve it, it'll be no big deal.

So he was a one hit wonder. Didn't he race in Bowling Green or somewhere and ran in the 11's in "Normal Air". The problem is that when people see someone ran some incredible time, they think they run it on a consistant basis. It would be nice to see what people normally run then also post the horseshoe number. I see people at our local track try to compare how they are doing against these kinds of numbers and it ain'y gonna happen. Our track is at 1200' and the DA is usually between 2500 to 3000 + feet and upwards of 4500 in the summer. What do you think he would run up here???

Now, don't both of those situations seem stupid now? lol
Campbell's car runs 10.9-11.2 most of the year, in non-perfect conditions. Several cars out there run that now, some even without ported heads.

I bracket race almost every weekend, my car is setup almost the same a Roughammers. I was dialed in at 10.68 this past weekend in 75* weather. My car will wun 10.6x's in most weather and low 10.70's in 80*-90* weather.
So it is possible for a 3250 lb race weight H/C car to run 10.60s-.70s all year long, i'm living proof.
