I think everyone agrees that the 2010 shootout was a lot of fun and the folks at Beech Bend were great as were the facilities and Bowling Green as well. So with that being said...

Tony and I are happy to announce the 2011 LTX Shootout!

tbss? the street stock / bolt on only class? if so we have A LOT of interest but we wont know really an idea until people pre register. but the minimum goal is 8 cars, but we are thinking we will get at least a 16 car field maybe more.

Mike's car has potential but, he needs to figure out how to hook it up before it becomes a class killer. :angel:

With less than 300hp I dont think hooking would be an issue.lol Actually it never was an issue until I put those junk comp 3ways on. Should not be an issue now with 700hp on the way and the current Madman suspension tuning. The car hooks awesome on the street now with a radial.

Oh and I might come out to some RSD's this year it's been a long time since Ive made one and the competition has been really weak the last couple of years from what Ive read on Chitown but, I'm sure no one is afraid of an LT1 right ?

My new motor is running... and in the car. Superflow engine dyno results were very promising, but I need to get the car on the rollers now and have Moe finesse the PCM tune.

Hope she runs strong at the track, I don't get excited anymore on numbers my car is a dyno queen and wish it ran as good as it dynoed. :eyes:

I'm with you on that thought. The dyno is a tool, the track is the test. :nod:

Damn. I don't think the car will be ready by then. Hopefully it'll be running and lined out for 2012. After all, the world is supposed to end in 2012 and I'd hate to not make it to an LTx Shootout before Armageddon! :pimp:

Is it a requirement that I preregister for this event or can I do it at the track? I will not know if I am coming untill right before the event as it all depends on if I goto the Div 3 bracket finals again this year.

Pre-registration will be open until about a week before the race. You can also register and pay on the day of the race too.

Anyone gonna be there that can tune my ECU? It's that nice OBDII setup, Should have all the bolt ons by September.

There's a possibility that Moe Bailey (moehorsepower) may be there again this year. If so, he might be able to take a look at it.

Same here. We haven't had it as bad as you guys, but I think we had a stretch of 18 days in a row of 90 + degrees which is not the norm up here.

wish i could make it - just starting my lt1 rebuild - maybe next year
