Viper seats in LT1?? Can it be done?
I'm a big fan of where theres a will theres a way. I found some 03 Viper seats for sale near me and man....they look sweet. I currently have some ebony LS1 Camaro seats in my car but I HATE how I slide around on the leather. The reason I really want to try to get these in is because they are suede and leather so I wont slide much and they have the holes for the harness seat belts (which I really want as well). If anyone has done this before, I would be very interested to hear how it went. The for sale post for the seats says they have the same mounting points as a corvette, so I'm thinking theres a chance. I guess its more of a question of how much work it's going to take. I just bought a welder and am going to be taking some classes at me local community college in the spring, so this should be a nice project for me Lets hear your thoughts! Thanks!

The guy is asking $650 and he says they're in perfect shape. It's a little pricy for me, but if I can get him closer to $500 I might have to jump on it. I'm pretty sure I can get around $300 for the two front seats I have now, so $200 for some bad *** seats isn't that bad. I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks for the input

werd, grabdat.
they may not tilt as much as your old ones since vipers are 2 seaters (obviously), but theyll be as much a PITA to mount as any other seats that arent too big/tall.
