2002 WS6 44k miles?? Worth?
I have been looking for a white 1999-2002 WS6 6sp w/black intieror and under 75,000 miles.
I found one but the guy wants $15k for it. It has 44k on it and he claims; garage kept, hardly driven, second owner, great condition inside and out, and some maintance records...
Too much? what's good a price?

It is near the high end of 'retail' pricing but perhaps it is one of those rare 'excellent condition' cars. Maybe it is worth it but a lower price would be better. You won't know unless you look at it. It better be near perfect with no needs, right down to the fluids and tires before laying out that $$. If not, then $13,000 -$14,000 would be closer. You didn't mention the tranny unless I missed it in reading. An auto is fine but a 6 speed is tougher to find in an 'excellent condition' car. So many have been beaten on and abused. Good luck!

Nothing wrong with that price in 'showroom' condition. Not with 28,000 miles. You expect to pay retail or close to it for cars like that. Sometimes people can get steals but that isn't the 'norm'.

It's a 6sp and I would have to drive to Kentucky from Texas to look at it. I guess my search continues.

There's a 2002 Firehawk M6 vert with 40k for $15k in Pasadena TX. Sunset orange, rare bird. Do an autotrader search. Very clean, considered it but settled on my 35th LE 11k miles for $17k.

DON'T BE AFRAID TO TRAVEL to get what you want. I am yelling on purpose. Once you talk to the seller on the phone, get to know the car through communication and pictures, AND feel comfortable with everything from needs to pricing, then go get it. Don't pay until you see it. There are con artists out there. I have travelled good distances to get that certain car. Paying a few hundred $$ for gas, fast food, motels, is nothing in the grand scheme of getting the car you want. My last car bought was in Philly, not exactly a stones throw from the mountains of western NC. Worth every penny of travel costs. Good luck to you!
