Default Will a hotcam work without tuning

If i was to stick a hotcam in my A4 car would i be able to get by without tuning.

hotcam has a LSA of 112 you need something with
a LSA of 114.. you could get by. but unless your
stricktly race.. you will be mad come summer time
with your AC on.. ( auto transmission ).

you will need to drill out the whole in the TB and raise your idle....changing cams without edit or tunning in A4 cars just leads to more troubles. Trust me on this one or you will regret doing the swap.

best advice... save money and get a 220-224 cam and LS1edit at the same time <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Unless you have access to a shop with edit and dynojet

it can work, but you might get sick of the stalling and hunting idle after a few weeks... but then again it may idle perfect. Hot cam really isnt a very big cam. I'd try a tr220 or comp 220 before that <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
