Default Cam is in and the motor runs!!

My new Texas Speed 228R cam, springs, chain and pump are in and tonight I started it up. Burp'd the coolant, motor runs good. No leaks. It won't idle so tomorrow I'll start calling the local tuners. I'm thrilled everything worked out good.

Make sure your oil pressure is good. When changing oil pumps sometimes you can pinch the O-ring for the pickup tube and you wont have any oil pressure. Other than that, Congrats.

The Z is getting tuned next Tuesday. I found what looks like to be a great place called Horsepower Logic right here in Royal Palm Beach where I live. It's only about 5 miles from my house. He has a Mustang Dyno and uses HPtuners. That lets me have this weekend to drive around my neighborhood and let it go thru some warm up cycles before it hits the dyno. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
