For the power your car is making those should work fine. Just drive very careful in rain and avoid standing water at highway speeds.

I wouldn't run the drag radials up front. I would go with either the NT-555 or NT-555RII.

Nitto 555r's are a good drag radial. I run them and have ran 11.80's on them.

I have the 555R drag radials on the rear and the 555's on the front. The 555 is a road race tire and is a different compound than the DR's. I don't think I would put the drag radials on the front.

I'm having problems finding the NT555 in 245/50/16...the NT555R in that size is easy to find, but where are you guys finding the NT555 in the NON-Drag Radial 245/50/16?

From what I gather, that tire isn't available in the size that you're looking for.

THe NT-555 is a standard high performance street tire. The NT-555RII is the road race tire.

the 555R is the drag radial which is a good tire and pretty good life.

the 555r II id the road race tire. i haven used them cause well i have no intentions of road racing but have heard great things about them from the guys that do road race.

imo why not just run the 555r (drag radial) in the rear and a set of kuhmos or something less expensive up front....save you a little cash... but thats all on you and how **** you are about having all your tires the same brand and stuff.

i was running nt555R's in the rear and kuhmos up front and had 0 problems. great traction.

follow the advice above about the rain.

drag radial + rain = traction no bueno
