I just scrolled through the list of Powertrain diagnostic error codes and disabled the ones I knew would be unused.

so if i disable them in the software, can i remove the wire in the harness to clean it up?

if its disabled in SW, then i shouldnt have to tie anything to BATT or GRND, right?

Absolutely, just be careful and certain of which wires you're removing. Personally I'd get it running first, then go back and clean up the harness.

You will have a hard time getting it to crank and run with nothing powered and grounded.
