This engine is from a 2006 Silverado. Do you guys think this was caused by the same thing that has been causing pistons to break on the outside at the rings? I'm going to push the piston out tomorrow so I can get a better look at the cylinder wall; hopefully it didn't mess up the block. I guess best case for me right now would be for the block to be ok and be able to get away with a hone and some new pistons...
